North Sea Port and the Port of Gothenburg have signed an agreement to work closely together. Setting up a network of medium-sized European ports and working on energy management in the ports are central to this.

DSV significantly expands activities in North Sea Port
DSV and North Sea Port will intensify their cooperation: DSV is planning the construction of new warehouses in Ghent at the North Sea port. DSV already has a logistics centre in Ghent for the storage and distribution of goods for the healthcare industry and chemical industry among others.

North Sea Port to build new quay at Quarleshaven in Vlissingen
North Sea Port is building a new 800-metre-long quay at Quarleshaven in East Vlissingen. This will enable the firm Bulk Terminal Zeeland to expand its operations. Shipyard Reimerswaal’s quay will also be extended as a result.

With nearly 69 million tons of seaborne cargo transhipped in 2021, North Sea Port grew 9% compared to the Covid year of 2020. Indeed, transhipment via inland navigation experienced a full recovery to nearly 60 million tons.
