Over the first nine months of 2024, the North Sea Port companies recorded a volume of 50.3 million tons of seaborne cargo transhipment.That is an increase of 1.4% compared to the same period in 2023.Inland waterway transhipment also grew (+3.2%). We see a slight recovery in transhipment volumes.

Over the first six months of this year, the companies in North Sea Port recorded a volume of 33.4 million tons of seaborne cargo transhipment. This is the same as in the equivalent period in 2023. Transhipment via inland navigation increased.
