North Sea Port offers 34 hectares of port land at the former BTZ site in Vlissingen
This is a truly unique site: the former site of the failed Bulk Terminal Zeeland (BTZ) plus land around it. The port authority (North Sea Port) and the trustees of BTZ are therefore looking for companies that play a key role in the energy and/or raw materials transition, engage in deep-sea port-related activities, and can make optimal use of the site and its available infrastructure.
With the issuance of this unique site, North Sea Port aims to further develop as a top European port: we contribute to Europe's strategic autonomy, ensure sustainable development, and create new employment opportunities. Moreover, when selecting companies, continuous attention is given to safety and integrity.
We seek companies actively engaged in the energy and/or raw materials transition.
