Aerial view of North Sea Port: from the North Sea till Ghent

Published on Tue 11 Dec 2018
Have you ever seen North Sea Port from the air? Come and fly along in 45 seconds over the 60 kilometres long port area from the North Sea, via Vlissingen and Terneuzen, over the Ghent-Terneuzen Canal till the city centre of Ghent.

North Sea Port was established one year ago. On December 8, 2017 the new name of the merged port between the Dutch Zeeland Seaports (with the ports of Terneuzen and Vlissingen) and the Flemish/Belgian Ghent Port Company was made public. A name that expresses innovation and ambition, with a touch of bravura: North Sea Port goes for the North Sea area.

The name is consciously international and gives the cross-border merger port a unique place in het heart of Europe. North Sea Port is the tenth port in Europa as far as cargo traffic is concerned and the third for added value.

Enjoy the unique aerial images of North Sea Port, the cross-border port area that is some 9,300 hectares large and where almost 100,000 people have a job.
